Yr 4 Have had a fantastic afternoon finding out all about how the police help us maintain the law. The children were exemplary in their behaviour and attitude to learning. They bombarded the police with questions .

This week's spellings and tables are on the link below. Don't forget instruments need to be played every day too. The children who are remembering to do this are making great progress.

Just a reminder that all children in Y4 should be reading for 20 minutes every night. Please can you sign the home school communication book when they read.  This week we are  still working on our 9, 11 and 12 times tables.
Spellings are tested daily from the Y4 list, that are on page 128 of the home school communication book. I have attached this weeks spellings in the file below.

Children do not need their instruments on Wednesday 25th October as there is no music for life session.

Each evening Year 4 have reading, tables and spellings as homework as well as practising their instruments. The children are expected to read for 20 minutes each night, they also have 5 different spellings to practise {which are from the Year 4 list in the home-school communication books} and every child has a TT Rockstar login so they can learn their tables.

Roald Dahl Day 13th September

On Wednesday come to school dressed up as your favourite Roald Dahl character - the teachers will be dressed up too. There are lots of activities planned. Should be fun.
