Year 6 SATs results 2015/6

2016 saw the introduction of new, end of Key Stage tests. These tests were based on the National curriculum which was introduced in 2014.
Previously a child in KS1 had to attain level 2 and level 4 in KS2, however, the new tests would award a child with a scaled score.
The scale score had to be at least 100 in order for a child to have met the expected standard.

KS2 Data

In Acton: 53% of our KS2 pupils attain the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths combined. The National average was 53%. 3% met the higher standard.

Reading: 90% of our pupils met the standard.
Writing: 70% of our pupils met the standard.
Grammar, punctuation and spelling: 70% of our pupils met the standard.
Maths: 67% of our pupils met the standard.

Our average scaled scores:

Reading: 106
Grammar, punctuation and spelling: 102
Maths: 103

Our progress measures were:

Reading: +1.4
Writing: -3.0
Maths: -1.6

KS1 Data

Reading: 84% met the expected standard. 28% met the greater depth standard.
Maths: 76% met the expected standard. 24% met the greater depth standard.
Writing: 80% met the expected standard. 20% met the greater depth standard.
Science: 84% met the expected standard. No option to record greater depth.
