Beverley Dolman (Executive Headteacher)

Beverley became the Headteacher at Acton CE Primary School in April 2008. Following a thorough evaluation of the school’s provision, she set about undertaking the school’s necessary improvements and secured a satisfactory judgement from Ofsted in May 2009. The strive for success continued rapidly and the school was judged to be outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in February 2012.

The school was also judged to be outstanding in all areas in the SIAS inspection.

The LA recognised Beverley’s strong leadership and sourced her as the Executive Headteacher into Calveley Primary School in June 2012. Despite many issues, Beverley once again was able to demonstrate her strong leadership and create a team committed to improvement:

Calveley School has since received 2 section 8 inspections and both recognise the continual improvements being made. The Section 5 inspection took place in May 2014 and the school was judged to be good with outstanding features.

Following the rapid improvements in Calveley, whilst maintaining the high standards in Acton CE, the Governors in both schools have decided to move forward and cement the partnership between the two schools. Beverley is now looking forward to creating and sculpting a new way of working across the two schools.

Beverley has spoken at local and national conferences and was made a National Leader in Education in March 2013. Within this role, she is currently supporting two schools in Cheshire West and Chester.
She is also working as a consultant for the Chester Diocese.
