Hi all,
our first celebration assembly for year 3 is Friday 15th November. If you would like to see all of our amazing work that we have produced from over the last half term then please arrive at school for 2:30.
I really look forward to celebrating all of the children's hard work that they have produced.

Summer Term

posted 17 Apr 2019, 02:05 by Jack Hollinrake

Hi all, I hope we all enjoyed a break over the holidays and all had a rest after the residential and all the work we have been doing over the last term. This term we are looking forward to our performance and showing you all, the hard work that has gone in to this. We will also be focusing on our topic 'Cooking on a Budget', and any unwanted menu's or food packaging that you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for all your support, and I look forward to spending the last term together.

Welcome back.

Hi, I hope everyone had a great summer break, as I know I did. I enjoyed hearing about what everyone did over the summer and some of the amazing places you went to.
This year is going to be a lot of fun and a lot of hard work as well, and our first topic is about Europe.
If anyone has anything about Europe and in particular France at home then they are more than welcome to bring them into school and we will discuss them. I hope everyone will enjoy learning about Europe as I know I will for sure.

I can hardly believe that the summer term is here already! I hope everyone has had a fantastic holiday- and a good rest! The summer term is going to be very busy especially with our upcoming concert 'Olivia'. I can't wait to get started. The new business acumen topic is going to be brilliant- giving the children real life skills of designing and cooking a meal on a budget- what fun we will have! See you all next week.

We hope you have had a relaxing week off, we can't wait to hear about all of your adventures! This half term is going to be fun packed especially with the trip away to Manor Adventure!
We are continuing our recycling theme and will be looking at different bags for life. How many of you remember to take them when you go shopping? We will be looking at them in detail and designing our own too!

We had a truly wonderful time at the museum. We went down into the coal mines, had a lesson from a very strict Victorian teacher and visited some fantastic Victorian shops and houses. It was a fantastic place to visit and we have learned a great deal about children in Victorian times. What a great start to our topic!
